- The Blue Hill at Stone Barns...
Chris began working on designs for the Blue Hill at Stone Barns in 2003. The restaurant incorporated a number of cherry veneer light fixtures, as well as several walnut pedestals and benches. The walnut mantel in the bar area was also designed by Chris. In 2007, when work began on the second barn, intended for use as an events space, Chris was asked to design a chandelier. He used old milk bottles collected from local Westchester dairies. The bottles are suspended in a blackened bronze structure with the light pointing up into the bottles, resulting in a beautiful glow from within.
